To all mothers out there...

It's Mother's Day here in Sweden and my thoughts goes to all mothers out there who do heroic work every day. Because there's nothing as important than raising and taking care of our beautiful children. As my very wise aunt said: they should make this day to a national holiday.

I feel very rich today, woke up with coffee and fruits served at my bedside, followed by a pancake breakfast. The girls made me bracelets and drawings and H gave me roses and chocolate, this is how every day should be!

Happy Mother's Day!

Beautiful morning.

It is hard to fit 4 people in one bed. Even if it is a double bed. But when the guest sleepers are this cute we immediately forgive them for a bad nights sleep...

Thursday adventures!

We have a Friday tradition at my work. We take turns to bring and fix a breakfast for our colleagues. A nice and appreciated tradition. Shame on you if you forget the Friday breakkie! Tomorrow happens to be my turn to bring breakfast. And of course H is away tonight so I'm alone with the girls. No option but to bring them, first to shop all the breakfast stuff and then bring everything to my work. It turned out to be quite a little adventure for the girls. Here they're playing by the mosaic art that covers our parking house...

And here they´re trying the hot chocolate in our coffee machine... A bit hot so I introduced them to tiny milk tetras. Oh the fun you can have with little milk boxes!

Now two tired girls are sleeping good and their mother will to in just a few minutes... Tomorrow I'm having breakfast at work!

Sports!

Yesterday basketball practice and today swimming school. I'm exhausted just watching...

Lovisa did so much progress in the water. She swims really well under the surface, she floats, flips, stand on her hands and I'm convinced she swollows liters of water while doing it. Today was the last time for this term and we celebrated with a selfie in the changing room:

This crazy wonderful hard thing called life.

Stop a minute. Breath. Think. Reflect. This day was a little bit hard to digest, or how about a early meeting at the daycare to evaluate Andréa together with her pedagogue, then choosing and ordering the wedding rings, attending a funeral and a lunch together with parts of my family, buying spring clothes for Lovisa, picking up the girls at daycare, realizing we have to attend a evening meeting about Lovisas school start, rushing to Lovisas new school attending the meeting, trying hard to listen and to realize that my oldest daughter is starting school in a few months, on my way home I took a detour and ran 5 kilometers in the woods of Riddersvik. Now I'm sitting here feeling rather dizzy. In one day it feels like I experienced all the different emotions that life gives you and I'm trying to appreciate this crazy, wonderful, hard thing called life. Breathing in and out. Closing my eyes and returning to the west-coast this past weekend. The fresh air by the ocean. So fresh it almost feels like your lungs are going to burst when you inhale deep. This is life right here and now. It goes by fast and how is it possible to keep up? Maybe by stopping once in a while to reflect and to keep certain moments in a special place close to your heart.

May 2015 sure started with a big bang.
